FAQ - Students & Parents
Everything you need to know about learning with MusoHunt
Do all tutors have a valid Working with Children Check?
Yes! It is important to make sure the tutors you engaged with have a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC). The Check aims to prevent risks exposed to children from people working or volunteering with them. At Muso Hunt, we make sure all tutors have a valid WWCC before they can start teaching with us.
What qualifications do your teachers have?
To teach with Muso Hunt, teachers need to either work towards or have achieved at least a music degree or AMusA/LMusA or equivalent. This means that our tutors are extremely skilled and knowledgeable in music, and will definitely be qualified to teach! We also interview our teachers before they start teaching with us, to make sure they have a great personality to bring you or your children the best learning experience.
Are there performance opportunities for students?
Yes! Performance opportunities allow students to aim towards a goal. They also help students learn how to cope with performance anxiety, stress management, time management, as well as performance etiquette (i.e how to bow, how to walk on stage etc..). We organise student concerts at least once a year to provide students an exciting performance platform to showcase their talent.
Will I get lesson reminders?
Yes! We know a lot of the parents are busy, and sometimes as much as they don't want to, they tend to forget about their kids' music lessons. No worries! We send out lesson reminders to you before the lesson commences, which means you will never have to stress about forgetting lessons again!
